Dear Residents,
We want to remind everyone to stay aware of their surroundings and be cautious of individuals who may come to your door claiming to represent a business, charity, or service.
Please keep these safety tips in mind:
- Stay aware of your surroundings and report any suspicious activity.
- Do not open your door to strangers unless you are expecting a visitor.
- Ask for identification from anyone claiming to represent a company or organization.
- Never provide personal, financial, or banking information to unsolicited visitors.
- If someone makes you feel uncomfortable or refuses to leave your property, contact local law enforcement immediately!!!
- If you notice suspicious individuals going door to door or have concerns about suspicious activity, please get in touch with Chief Soltero (432-231-9753) or City Hall (432-527-3337) so they can be made aware of the situation.
